When you add Webnova Privacy to your registration, the only information listed in the whois will be Webnova. Here is an example of what the whois might look like for your domain.

You will still be the owner of the domain name, but anyone wanting to contact you from the information on your domain name will have to talk to Webnova first. Also, our privacy is FREE!

Additionally, you will be able to login to your account at any time to change any of the information listed in your whois. If you would like any further information on this service, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Note: Domain Privacy is only available to domains that HAVE been transferred to our registrar, or that were originally registered with us. If our registrar is not the registrar of the domain, we cannot change ANY of its information. Domain privacy is also not available for any domain names with a ".com" extension (ie. domain.com).

How to enable this privacy on your existing hosting account:

1. Log into your Control Panel
2. Click on 'Domain Manager' under the section 'Domains'
3. Click the 'Domain Manager' tab at the top
4. Put a check mark in the box of the domain you'd like to change
5. Click the Privacy tab
6. Select the 'Click here to enable privacy on your domain' button
7. That's It!

*Also keep in mind that any time you modify DNS information, it may take anywhere from 24-72 hours for the changes to propagate over the internet.
